I'm gonna
make Daddy do this one. He goofed it up, so he's gotta fix it!
Isn't
my youngest son the most forgiving kid you know? Well, I did sort
of goof up. A friend of Jaxon's sent me the e-mail address of his
parents and also a note about him. It seems he had a transplant
some time ago and, for a while, was doing well. Then he had to go
onto the ventilator and as been there for some time now (I think
over a month). He has been diagnosed with Post-Transplant BMV (or
something like that) and lymphoma. I will do a better job when I
get the e-mail at the office tomorrow. Anyway, the bottom line is
he really, really needs our prayers. His parents desparately need
our
prayers too.
Susannah's
mommy gave Daddy the address for Jaxon's home page. Now ya can go
there and read his updates. God bless Susannah's mommy for that.
Jaxon's
Mommy wants ya to pray that everything gets better with Jaxon, but
also that she and his daddy make the rite decisions for Jaxon. It's
speshully hard for Jaxon's Mommy 'cause she's there by herself for
rite now. Pray that God takes care of them all.
Jaxon's
had his keymo stuff. Pray that it works and gets rid of the lymphoma
thinggys.
Ya
know, I think we need to change our prayer. We need to ask God to
let Jaxon and his family go on a bakation - maybe Disneyland or
sumthin'. Cents ya can't go on a bakation sick, God will just have
to get him unsick so he can have sum fun.
Then,
after he comes back from bakation, I'm sure God won't want to go
to all the trouble of gettin' him well again, so maybe God will
keep the mean Hurler thinggys away.
Just

Jaxon
is havin' a pretty hard time with his keymo. Please ask God to fix
him so he can go out an play.
Well,
God decided that it was time for Jaxon to go to his forever home
and play. So, a cuple of weeks ago, he took Jaxon home to play with
my other friends. I've heard my grandmas and grandpas talk 'bout
their friends dyin' and I figure that's bad enough. But, I'm just
a non-toddlin' toddler and it's two soon for all my friends to be
goin' to heaven. It just makes me sick.
Please
pray for Jaxon's mommy, daddy and sisters. I know they are hurtin'
real bad.
Holly
Legendre - I
met Holly's mom today. Holly had a BMT for Hurler Syndrome in 1995.
While she does have some orthopedic problems, they are not causing
any current problems. Holly is presently doing well. The prayer
request for her is that she continue to do well.

Jerry
Klemm - Jerry
had a BMT 6 years ago, but just had a corneal transperson and a
cataract removed from his rite eye. Now he has an infexion in the
eye - streptococcus. The doctors are havin' trouble getting the
streptococcus to leave. Pray that he will get his eye fixed soon
and he will be all better. His birthday is comin' on December 29.
Pray he has a gud birthday.
By the way, how do ya s'pose he got a cat stuck in his eye?
Julia
Moran - Julia is a cute little girl that had her transperson
'bout 43 days ago. I haven't seen a pikture of her, but I know she's
pretty 'cause she has a pretty name. Her mommy is Patty and her
daddy is Jay. Also, her sister Kristen gave her the marrow stuff.
Pretty neat, huh?
Anyway,
she has 73% donor marrow, but they don't know 'bout the enzyme stuff
yet. She had a little problem last week (today is 1-9-01) when her
white blood sell count went down, but it's comin' back - Go sells
Go!!! Please ask God to see that she keeps the donor marrow stuff
and also her enzyme level is gud and stays gud. It also wudn't hurt
if ya asked him to see that the white sells (which are red if ya
ask me) stay where they are s'posed to be.
Julia
lost her transperson. Pray that she can get anuther transperson
as soon as possible and the sekund one works.
Daddy
got the followin' message from Julia's friend yesterday:
"Dear
Kristi, little Julia has had a major set-back. She stopped breathing
at home last night. Her dad, Jay, did CPR until the EMT's arrived.
She is in PICU at Connecticut Children's Hospital on the vent. Please
pray she will be strong enough to get better. Apparently, her lungs
were bleeding. Also, pray for her poor dear parents (Jay and Patty)
and her sister, and brother who were all home at the time and had
to witness that. Thanks. Love, Lisa "
Last
we heard, Julia was doin' better, but she had a long way ta go.
She was off the oscilating vent and on the regular one, and yes,
I asked Daddy ta spell oscilating.
Julia
is now off the vent. That's really gud news, but she duz have sum
bugs that need to go bye-bye. Please ask God to chase 'em away.
She is also havin' sum problems keepin' enough plates in her blud,
so please pray that the plates come back. I guess they are little
plates 'cause evreyperson keeps callin' them platelets.
Jack
Witte - Jack
is a friend of Mommy's and Daddy's. He got told he had (daddy will
spell this one) pancreatic cancer. He has it pretty bad and it has
spread all over his body. Please ask God to heal him and take the
bad cancer sells away.
Martha
McClelland - I
guess ya can call Grandma Bit Martha, but I think I'll still call
her Grandma Bit. She has sumthin' called Irritable Bowel Syndrome
and also her back hurts her all the time. Please pray she gets better
so she can come visit me more.
Cory
Hiers - Cory
is almost 17 and found out yesterday that she has liver cancer.
Her mommy is a friend of Mommy's and Daddy's and her step daddy
works with my daddy. She had cancer in her eye a cuple of years
ago and had to get it taken out. Now this!
It
get's even more interestin'. Seems my cousin - Martha Brantley -
is her bilogikal daddy's cousin. Weird, huh?
Anyway,
they don't know zactly what they are gonna do yet, but they are
tryin' to go see the St. Judes doctors. They have lots of doctors
at the St. Judes place who have helped kids with liver cancer. Pray
that they get to go real soon and that they find a way to fix Cory.
Pray that she gets healed totally. Thanks.
Cory
starts the keymo stuff tomorrow. If the keymo stuff works, there
is a place in Filadelfia that she can go. Please ask God real nice
to make the keymo work so she can get better.
Cory
and her family got sum bad news. Last week they were told that the
keymo stuff wazn't gonna work and she would probably die in two
months.
She
and her family are tryin' ta go on trip thru Make A Wish. We think
they will, so please ask God to make that happen and let her feel
gud for the whole trip.
Ya
know what wud be even better - if God wud just go ahead and fix
her rite now. If He duzn't think that's the rite thing ta do, maybe
they cud go on the trip, then He cud fix her. I guest I wud settle
for that.
Cory
went on her trip. She's s'posed ta be home now. They went to see
Mickey and Minnie. From what Daddy said, the wishin' peeples planned
a gud trip, but now it's time ta get down ta work. I don't really
know what's happenin', but I think I'll just take a stab and say
please, please, pretty please with baby food on it, pray for Cory
to be totally healed. Jesus can do it if He is asked. For that matter,
He can do it even if He isn't asked, but he likes ta hear from ya,
so please pray to Him lots and often.
Cory
took her final trip today at 'bout 3:00 pm. She's with Jesus now
and can do the babysittin' for Jaxon, Tyler and our other friends
when Jesus want's her too. I never got to see her, but there was
a story 'bout her and her friends on the TB and Mr. Stuart showed
Daddy and sum other peeples at the office the story. Daddy says
she was pretty.
I
don't know why ya grownups use that "was" word so much.
I think she still is pretty. In fak, I think now that she's in heaven,
she is prettier than she ever was on Earth. Guess that means she's
Georgous now.
Anyway,
please pray for Stuart, Susan (her Mommy), Zack and Landry (her
brudders) and her birth Daddy. Also pray for her friends. When ya
are young, it hurts lots more to lose friends. I know 'cause I been
there, dun that and do not 'tend to by anymore t-shirts.
Sarah
Taylor
- I gotta say "Brad Taylor's Daughter" agin, 'cause Daddy
left the informashun at his office. I swear he can be the most exasperatin'
daddy sumtimes.
Anyway,
she is Daddy's friends daughter and she has "scoliosis",
which means her spine thinggy is curvin'. I'm not sure, but I think
she has already had her operashun, but maybe not. The 'portent thing
is ta ask God to show the doctors how to help her and fix her so
she can do all the stuff she likes ta do. Also, everytime sumone
get's fixed and is honest 'bout it, they give more honor to God.
Let's face it, He deserves all the honor he can get 'cause he's
that great!!!!
To
'splain, the part abuv was 'cause Daddy didn't have Sarah's name
at first. He left it at the office. Now, he duz (as of March 22,
2001). Here is what's goin' on with Sarah - She's s'posed ta have
surgery on April 16th at Shriner's in Shreveport. She will be in
the hospital about one week and home from school for up to seven
weeks, which means she will probably be out of school the remainder
of this school year. She'll have ta wear a back brace for up to
one year. Now isn't that a bummer for a pretty 14 year-old kid?
Mr. Taylor says she will be a freshman at some place called Byrd
next year, but I don't understand.
In
the firt place, Sarah's a girl. How will goin' to see a bird turn
her into a fresh man? I swear grownups don't make cents sumtimes.

Birmingham - Molly
is gonna have her transperson today (March 23, 2001). Please ask
God to make everythin' go gud, perfek, wunderful....
I know there
are other kids I need to pray for, but I don't have their names
rite now. So, please pray for all kids who are sick, or have diseases
like mine. Also pray for their families. Pray that God helps us
all and uses our lives to glorify Him and heal other peeples.
