Romie had his transperson in October or November of 1999. From readin' his web page, he is doin' pretty gud, so we gotta pray he continues to do gud. It's real 'portant he duz gud 'cause now he has a little brother named Benny that he has to bug for the rest of Benny's life - a long time we hope. He also has a big brother he has to drive crazy for a long time.

Man, this stuff of bein' a brother can sure be hard work sumtimes.

Anyway, last we heard, Romie was doin' real gud. Pray that God will keep it that way for him and his family.

I got a real nice note from Romie's mommy tonite. Seems that he is gonna have a operashun Fryday (Oktober 6, 2000) to fix his ostomy. That's where they had ta take part of his intestine thinggy out and put a bag on him 'cause his GVHD had gotten so bad. Well, now they can put the intestine thinggy's back together so he duzn't have the ostomy anymore. I know that will be great, so let's all 'member to pray that everythin' goes real gud and God heals him up real fast. We will be prayin' for ya Romie!!! We'll 'member to pray for his mommy (Shawna) and daddy (Ron). Also, don't forget his brothers either. (Pretty bossy, a'int I?)

Romie's mommy says that he is doin' gud from havin' the operashun, but he keeps havin' problems with GVHD. They are gonna go to a speshul place that knows lots 'bout GVHD. Pray that God heals him and he stops havin' bad GVHD.

Daddy got an e-mail from Romie's mommy. He hasn't gone to the speshul place cause he has been havin' feevers (Man those little guys get around). He had ta get a different central line and they had ta keep him in the hospital the last three weeks or so. Ask God to get him fixed up so he duzn't have to be in the borin' hospital and duzn't have ta go to the speshul GVHD hospital.

Romie's mommy hasn't updated his site in a long time, but I think he's doin' ok. We got sum piktures recently and he seems to be doin' gud. Pray the GVHD guys stay away from him.
