Lucas is
a little boy in Sweden. He had his transplant in August, 'bout a
year after I had my first one. His "mummy" is Caroline and his "daddy"
is Leif. They have has a pretty tuff time for the last month 'cause
he had to go on the ventilator shortly after his transperson. Luckily,
he is off now, but I bet he's still pretty scared. No person wants
a tube put down his throat, let alone a little baby. If ya need
sumone to prove that, just ask me. As Mommy says, "Been there, dun
that, bot the t-shirt - don't wanna go back again!"
Pray that
his first transplant is a real success and that everythin' goes
great from here out for Lucas and his family.
His
last update said he was havin' problems with that CMV bug that takes
real strong antibiotics to chase off. That was on November 1, 2000.
Pray that he chased the bugs away and he is doin' gud. Ask God to
take gud care of him and make/keep him well.
'Cordin'
to a letter Daddy got, Lucas chased the CMV bugs away, with a lot
of help from Jesus. It sounds like he is doin' gud.
I
got an e-mail from Lucas. He's doin' gud and his mommy and daddy
are back workin'.
Last
we heard was in May, but Lucas was doin' gud. Let's pray he stays
that way.
