Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. - Matthew 18:10

Alexis is anuther kid like me that has Hurler Syndrome. Her daddy is Tom and her mommy is Jodi. Tom and Jodi are real afraid of what cud happen.

Gee. I bet noperson out there ever felt that way about the mean Hurler man.

Pray that God helps them all do what He wants and ask extra special nice that He will give them the peace that He is in control. I know ya know how to do that 'cause ya did it for me.

Well, seems Alexis has a date too. She will be startin' her transperson stuff this month. Pray that everythin' goes well and that God takes care of everything.

We heard from Alexis' mommy. Alexis is doin' gud. Pray God keeps it that way.

March 1

It's been a long time cents Daddy updated the prayer pages. I just don't know how to make him do better. Still, most of ya know that Alexis went to be with Jesus. Ya know, I think it's great that Jesus can bring peeples home and everything, but cudn't he just wait till I got a chance to meet 'em face to face? Oh, well, I gots sumthin' more to look forward to when I get to heaven in 'bout 100 years. Please pray for Jody (mommy) and Tom (daddy) Wiggins. We have talked to them cents Alexis went home to Jesus and ya know they gotta miss her.

Here are the last two entries in her journal:

It truly saddenes my heart to have to write an update like the one I have to write but, here goes. We have put our little girl to rest today at 4:30 this afternoon on January 24th. She has truly fought a long and hard battle with her disease. Alexis and I came to Minneapolis on January 23rd of last year to put her thru Bone-Marrow Transplant for Hurlers. We came here knowing the good and bad of this but we chose to give her the best quality of life we could possibly give her. The Doctors fought long and hard on Lexy's problems but, one thing always lead to something else. We wanted to bring her home to love her and play with her but, Our Lord had other plans for her. We have chosen not be selfish but, we will forever miss her little beautiful self. In this past year we have grown to watch little Lexy fight so hard for her life. We believe she has made us better Parents. She made us to be strong at all times and never wanted us to cry. Laughter and Play time was her Motto. She enjoyed life for the short time she was here her life was always Doctors, Clinic visits and long stays in the Hospital. A long the way we have met many friends and families of Hurler Children they have and forever made an inpact on our life. Somehow they must truly be related to us all because every time we see one we will always think of our Lexy. We would like to always stay in touch with all our friends and know about how things are with your children. Now as I bring this letter to a final close Thank You All For Your Prayers and Support!! We are truly better parents for knowing each and everyone of you. So long for now and May God Bless Each and Everyone of You!! Alexis Wiggins and Family
